Our CD Moonshine & Palinka Now Available

After months of bleeding, practicing, gigging, partying, traveling and arguing over the relative merits of the key of G over the key of A, the Strung Out String Band is pleased to announce that we've finally completed our first CD.

In the fine tradition of great strung out performers before us, we decided to name it Moonshine and Palinka⁽⁺⁾ after two of our favorite beverages which have inspired many a musician on both sides of the Atlantic.

We would love for you to give it a listen and, if you like it, maybe buy a copy for you and all your friends. Heck, for the low cost of a few pints it's definitely worth it, just think of it as buying each of us a beer.

Palinka (Hungarian: pálinka; Romanian: palincă) is a traditional type of brandy that is produced in Romania (Transylvania and Hungary. It is usually made out plums, apples, pears or apricots and double distilled.
